  US Military Vets MC Donate $4,500 to Stand Down House of Lake Worth, Florida.

On March 6^th, 2010 The US Military Vets Motorcycle Club took part in a Annual fund raising event in Fort Pierce Florida at Archie’s Seabreeze.  The event is an annual event called HOG WILD.  This year the benefiting organization was the Southern State Chapter of the US Military Vets MC.  The US Military Vets MC works with a variety of veteran related causes across the nation.  This year’s local event proceeds were given to the STAND DOWN HOUSE of Lake Worth.  Stand Down House gained national notoriety this past year when one of it’s founders Roy Foster was selected as a TOP TEN Finalist in the annual CNN HEROES Series.  Mr. Foster was truly surprised when he received the phone call last week asking if he thought he could make a trip to Fort Pierce to receive a check for $4,500 from a group of bikers know as US Military Vets MC.  He was delighted with this idea.  Check presentation was held on March 20^th, 2010 at Archie’s Seabreeze in Fort Pierce.  On hand to help with the presentation was Archie’s owner and organizer of the annual event, Patty McGee.  Archie’s has been doing the annual event for many years now and decided this year it was time to help out the area veterans!

 in the defense of the United States of America.

Roy Foster and Donald Reed began to make their dream a reality when they founded
Faith*Hope*Love*Charity, Inc. (FHLC, Inc.), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, in
1994. In May 2000 Stand Down opened its doors and it has continued to flourish since. 

Stand Down is a multi tiered program that assists & supports male veterans who
are struggling with addiction & have become homeless as a result of that struggle.
